This module will help you consider how to begin, then sustain the process of data-driven change in your school. One approach, the data retreat, will be described in detail. So that you may implement a data retreat successfully, significant attention is given to the process of preparing for and staffing a data retreat. Finally, several descriptive models for change are introduced. These change models provide a reference that can be useful to schools as they begin to face challenges and barriers to improvement. After completing this module, you will have a solid understanding of how data retreats can contribute to your school's journey towards continuous improvement, how you can ensure their success at your school, and how to manage and understand the process of change that will follow.
