| About This Lesson |
This lesson examines issues of fairness in testing. Test scores may differ for different groups of people for relevant reasons (true differences in competency) or irrelevant reasons (problems with the test that have nothing to do with the construct the test is supposed to be measuring). Ways to avoid or reduce potential biases are discussed.
