| About This Lesson |
This lesson examines issues related to the objective and subjective scoring of individual test items. Some items can be scored with a high degree of objectivity - in the vast majority of cases two people will agree as to what score should be given. Other types of items require judgment in the scoring and two different scorers will not always agree. This lesson will look at the value and issues of both approaches.
