![]() 1. The SEA representative will be the key contact person in each state. 2. Cheryl Harrod will be the key contact person at the e-Learning Design Lab on procedures and issues. She Will coordinate additions to the website with Bob Isaacson. 3. Karl Murray will be the key support person in contact with SEA representatives and team members during the beta testing. 4. Each team member will select a module for beta testing. The preference is that they select a module of interest to them personally and that they do not all select the same module. 5. A computer generated unique user code will be provided each team member for access to the modules and the beta-test survey form on the website. The responses will be anonymous. The generator will allow for determining if holders of numbers have not responded but will not be able to identify them. If you need a number or your number is lost contact Cheryl Harrod at 785-864-0760. 6. A user code password will be given to team members attending the session i Washington, D.C. Those who are not in attendance should contacdt Cheryl Harrod to obtain the user code password. 7. The user code password will be the password to enter the modules on the website. 8. To access the module of your choice go to the website at http://elearndesign.org/betatest/modules.html and select a module for viewing from the module index. Click on the module of your choice and enter your User Code to access the module. After you enter your User Code, follow the directions on the page. 9. Each time you return to work on the module you will go through same procedure in step 8. 10. When you have completed the module and are ready to complete the Survey Form return to the website at http://www.elearningdesign.org/betatest and click on the Survey Form link. The survey form will appear with a text entry field asking you to enter your User Code. Follow the instructions for completing the Survey Form. 11. Once you click submit after completing the Survey Form the results are automatically recorded and tallied at server site. 12. Karl Murray will call each team personally to determine if they have questions or comments they would like to share as they progress through their module. 13. Following completion of the beta test, a series of four sessions in the form of conference calls will be held. A sample of participants will be selected for the conference call sessions. Note: You are free to beta test more than one modules or to review additional modules without completing a Survey Form. You also are allowed to review any of the original 22 Academy modules. To review any the of the original 22 Academy modules you follow the following directions: Go to: http://www.elearningdesign.org/resources.html and click on the module of your choice then enter "preview" and "previewonly" when prompted for a user name and password. |
